These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks. (sometimes called hairlines because they are so thin) VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G (Good) Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies of this grade. FAQ Why do we always include a picture of the actual label? It does give an indication of how the record was handled as it was placed and removed from the record player but more importantly the color of the label used by the record company will tell you when a record was made. Meaning if a seller says "1980 record" but the label color was only used after 1985... obviously someone is fibbing.
