Description: 3 Nice Silver New Years Antique Postcards, 1900s. EMB, Unposted. w Value This is a nice group of 3 NEW YEARS POSTCARDS that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. They have the classic New Years motifs such as holly and berries, wintery snow rural scenes, flowers, bells, etc. These are EMBOSSED postcards and have SILVER TRIM. They are attractive postcards with good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. These are a very colorful group of postcards. One of the postcards shows a snowy rural scene in the middle with houses and an orange sunset. It has green holly and red berries around along with silver bells. Another postcard shows a large clock tower (church) as seen from a lake. It has a silver moon in the background as well as a reddish border. The other postcard has a sealed envelope with pink roses around it, as well as a large and nice looking blue ribbon. These postcards were made during the "Golden Age of Antique Postcards" (1908-1915 era). Overall, a nice selection of New Years antique postcards! These are collector items because of their age, their colorful and attractive nature, and their appeal to antique postcard and New Years collectors. The postcards are UNPOSTED and they would have been published in the 1908-1912 era. The postcards are EMBOSSED, most likely "PRINTED IN GERMANY", and with SILVER TRIM. They have DIVIDED backs. One of the postcards has a Santa sticker as a stamp, but it was not sent. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs.
