They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. These buttons have a wonderful 3-D quality and show through from reverse. The mold used makes the colors "pop" because it was carved in high relief. Each measures approx. 22mm (7/8") wide and has a metal loop shank. They are reverse painted in rose pink enamel. There is gold enamel decoration on the front. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!! We specialize in limited edition Czech buttons.
