Description: Available for sale is 20lbs of beautiful white quartz beach sand fromTreasure IslandBeach Florida. This is some of the finest sand you will find anywhere. The sand fromTreasure IslandBeach is sugar white in color and a very fine powdery soft. This sand is made up of perfectly round tiny quartz crystals. The consistency is between sugar and fine powder. Because this is natural sand directly from the beach, you may find very small particulate matter from shells, coral or palm bark. I screen the sand at least three times to remove particulates. Some are so tiny they can not be removed. . Do not get confused by the other sellers who like to claim the sand is different by calling it windblown, mid beach or waters edge. The sand is all the same. The only difference is moisture content. I bake all sand for 4 hours at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This gets rid of all moisture and kills all micro organisms in the sand. The sand is then triple sifted through the finest steel mesh to remove all particulate matter. If you want to pay for sand that is just scooped off the beach untreated then buy from the other sellers. You will need to sift and treat this sand yourself prior to use. If you want your sand prepared and for your use so you can use it the minute you open your package then I am your seller. This sand is great for many different uses. I use it in arts and crafts, some collect sand from beaches world wide, it can be a souvenir from a vacation to the beach, it is great for adding texture to paint. When cared for properly, this can be used for aquariums for fish or lizards. This sand is beautiful when used in centerpieces for weddings, sand gardens, decorations or sand candles.
