2 Roberts Akai 990 tube reel reel tape recorder light up VU meters 1040 & others

Description: This is the best pair I have ever found no yellow where the lights burnt the front. These look like they have never been used. This listing is for Two Roberts working VU meters carefully removed from a very clean 990 machine. These were made by Akai and will work in many Akai, and other Roberts recorders as well. These are so hard to find in pairs that work. I can not tell you how many machines I have to go through to find a good working pair. Most of the time only one light works or the meter is no good. I use these VU meters some times with my 45 or 2A3 amplifiers. They serve the purpose of the dial light, and show the amplifier output, and look very cool. Flat rate shipping anywhere in the USA. It may cost a little more but they will arrive in good condition. These are in very good condition, and come with the springs and nuts. The silver paint on the edge is perfect. These came from a very low milage reel to reel that came still in the original factory box. Please see pictures for cosmetic condition.
