Description: 1989 Ritchey Super Comp Fillet Brazed - Restored, full Deore XT 730/732. I read the serial no. as 9C133 (pic is attached).I measure the seat tube 18" ctc and 19" ctt.Bike was originally red/white/blue but was powder coated Ritchey team yellow under previous ownership for better durability.Finish and decals look really good, maybe some clamp marks at drop outs as expected.Original fillet brazed stem and fork. The top tube cable management is original and may have been a one-off for the transition to top pull derailleurs, I haven't seen another like it.Previous owner reported that bike was formerly a Will Horton bike - means nothing to me but may mean something to you.I've had several years, it's just been a wall hanger and I suspect will be for the next owner as well.Mix of either nos or really nice/display worthy components. Build kit:730 cranks/chain rings (nice but arms have a little heel rub)731 pedals (I'll call really nice as most are roached but see pics)732 front/rear deraillures732 Shifters732 Brake levers (I touched a few small chips up at the ends with paint pen but the hoods are perfect)732 Cantilevers (I updated to Kool Stop pads - if ever ridden the original pads are like cement now and would wreck rim anno, I have them if you would want shipped loose with the bike)730 Headset730 Sharkfin730/732 hubs, rare back editions and very nice7sp Cassette looks nearly new - I'm sure period XT but I don't know the no.NOS San Marco saddle (was $80 in 1998 according to price tag under it!!!)730 seatpost - Deore XT printing that is always gone looks greatArara RM-17 hoops with virtually no wear on brake tracks and of course trueOury gripsRitchey 2.1 Omegas tires - near NOS, these were the go to tires after gum walls went away, I think I road once 20+ years ago. Most of these bikes were ridden hard and put away wet. This one has been refreshed though the years and don't confuse it for one that hasn't.I've tried calling attention to anything I would want to know about if I was spending this kind of money on a bike through the internet. But pictures always tell the best story so please carefully review and ask me if you'd like anymore/different.I will likely lose money on shipping.Bike will be professionally boxed by Continental Bikes in Hazel Park MI and they charge me $65.Shipping and insurance to the west coast (where most of these bikes seem to be go) by BikeFlights is about $150.If my total costs comes in under the $195 I will refund you the difference.Give me 3 working days to get to the bike store, some days for them to box and then shipping time from there.Local pick up is of course fine.I will not ship international. BUT I would be willing to take the bike to Continental Bikes (a BikeFlights afilliate) and buyer would handle shipping from there (I would refund an international buyer the shipping cost following this logic). Also for sale locally in the usual places and I reserve the right to end auction at anytime.OK to message me anytime with questions - I'm super easy to work with.
