We research the big questions that effect the most people...... We want to know long-term effects of burning fossil fuels. First thing to know is the brain stops the heart at 134.5 degrees. In an attempt to cool down. The second thing is that the Greenland Icesheet will add fifteen feet to the Atlantic Ocean. The third thing to know is that several cities are at sea level. It includes Boston, New York City, Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, Charleston & many Florida cities. There are many cities that have some protection but won't be protected when fifteen are added to the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the world believes that fossil fuels are going to have huge negative effects on the planet. The world agreed that the use of fossil fuels should end as soon as possible. There is a ban starting in 2030 to end gasoline cars. The world needs a fuel that won't kill the planet. I know nuclear has a bad reputation. I find that their reputation is based on nuclear failures. Three-mile Island and Russia's Chernobyl power plants were both built on swamps. A really bad idea. The Fukushima disaster was designed by a company who once owned Harley Davidson, AMC and built bowling alleys. They designed a nuclear power plant that water had to be pumped up hill. A really bad idea when you need water fast and plentiful. Nuclear particles can't travel through water. It stops them dead in their tracks. Its design made reaching the fuel rods impossible. The French have a better design. Although there is a serious problem with their high pressurized steam pipes. They are corroded. And 17 out of 33 nuclear power plants are shut down because of this problem. This problem doesn't have an environmental problem. Once the pipes are fixed by replacing them France will again be the largest provider of Nuclear Power. This is a little off subject. We have been given some of the most corroded small cents in our change. Is this happening to you? I want to know if this is environmental problem. Especially if it's a sulfur problem. If you look at the surface of Venus it is made up of sulfur and metals. This is where and when the planet started warming. It is 638 degrees now. We're trying to figure out if Earth is going to be another Venus. Of course, we can't live here under those conditions. Here is a bold initiative. Building a Nuclear Reactor at the North End of New York City. They are to be built on bed rock which is under the Earth's crust. This eliminates a mistake that was made at least three times that ended in disasters. There are three large rivers nearby which will keep any nuclear particles in place. If the need arises. There will be enough power to light every building, street and home 24/7 and power electric cars. Right now, New York City buys electric from as far as 600 miles away. 40% of it is lost in transmission. And every 50 miles the electric has to go thru regeneration. This causes unwanted heat and takes energy away from the locals. Who will need electric for their cars. I wish green energy could replace fossil fuels. There is no way that wind farms will ever make enough energy then what it took to make them. Solar panels are great but when it's dark they are out of luck. Unfortunately, Uranium 235 is the only real alternative. New York burns oil to make electricity at Big Alice. We have to shut down all fossil fuel now in order to survive. Enviromental laws govern themselves. Offering to bend them is unwise. The fossil fuels make thousands of jobs. Building and running nuclear power plants will make more really good jobs. Including replacing every fossil car with an electric car. Building enough e-cars so everyone can have one. The electric cars batteries have been a problem. We want to see every electric car to have silver leads between the motors and batteries. This will stop fires from happening. And make e-cars more efficient and add hours to batteries. If we don't do something soon Nature will take care of the problem for us. It will melt the Greenland icesheet, And Hudson Bay will overflow into the great lakes. Wiping us out.thank you,This is the world's story.Jason Best.
