Description: A pair of original 1985 Chicago 1’s in an unrestored state with original insoles and laces. These BY factory shoes (late production 86-02-04) are exceptionally well crafted and continue to be wearable (Please see the attached test wear photos in which the soles flex). the collar padding on these is crunchy/hard depending on the spot but mainly intact as far as shape goes which is very common for these vintage Jordans. Not at all noticeable while worn. There are various markings of age such as scuffs, paint fade, and other small imperfections that add to the patina of the shoe. Please view them carefully. Collar paint is original and intact but it’s recommended to protect it from further cracking with leather clear acrylic paint. These are ideal for a collector looking to display them or daily wear as the founding father of shoe culture itself.
