1978 Norco road / touring bicycle VINTAGE 1970's 10 speed made in Canada

Every item except the tires is original! This vintage bicycle is in like new condition and everything works properly. It has new 90 psi 27 x 1 1/4 inch gumwall tires. Included reflectors keep you visible and safe at night. Stainless steel fenders and rear rack are functional and look stunning. The ride is comfortable, silky smooth, and quiet. The bike has been meticulously refurbished and detailed. The handlebar tape is matches the vintage leather seat. The headset, bottom bracket, and wheels have all had their bearings serviced and packed with new grease by a professional bicycle mechanic who knows and loves these fine machines. Original steel wheels are polished, spin freely, and are perfectly true. The chain is clean and lubricated. The bike is equipped with old-school friction Suntour shifters and front and rear Suntour derailleurs. It has safety brake levers, drop levers, and center pull brakes. Safety brake levers allow for an additional upright method of braking. Hence, you can either brake using the handlebar drop brake levers or brake using the safety levers while you are upright on the upper part of the handlebars. The bike has frame braze-ons and threaded screw holes for adding more racks and panniers. This bike can be used many ways. It is a fantastic commuter, world touring, or fast riding road bike.
