ITEM DESCRIPTION This offering is for a VINTAGE 1974 HERBIE HANCOCK TREASURE CHEST 2XVINYL PROMO WARNER BROS RECORDS 2WS 2807 G+. This album, Warner Bros. Records (2WS 2807) is in Good+ condition. I play-test every record that I list all the way through all sides and I strive to accurately report actual condition and their effects if any on playback. Vinyl is generally bright and shiny with several discernible scuffs and/or scratches. All four sides play all the way through without skipping. There is surface noise here and there, mostly in the dead wax and softer passages. Specifically, Side II intro has a recurring hissing type of surface/fine scratch noise for about the first full minute of the intro; Side III, Track 2 has a pop which plays on through afterwards about 2 minutes into the track. Playback is generally excellent, with the noted exceptions above, providing a mostly enjoyable and pleasant listening experience. Cover is in Good Plus condition with light scuffs, initials on back, pink marks on front lower right, Promo sticker, and minor shelf wear. One original inner liner is okay; the other is missing. So, I am sending the records in new poly-lined sleeves. Matrix Side 1: 2LS 2807 40850-1A 2S A4; Side 2: 2LS 2807 40851-1A 1S A4; Side III: 2LS 2807 40852-1C 1S A2; Side IV: 2LS 2807 40853-1B 1S A3. PLEASE VIEW AND ENLARGE ALL PHOTOS TO DETERMINE IF THIS ITEM MIGHT SUIT YOUR NEEDS. Please take a few moments to read the short terms section above before bidding. By bidding in this auction you are agreeing to the terms above. This is a No Reserve Auction. Please feel free to contact me before bidding if you have any questions. GOLDMAN GRADING GUIDEMint (M)The record and sleeve are flawlessly perfect. To qualify the record must never have been played or is still sealed.Near Mint (NM)The record and sleeve is nearly perfect. (NM) Has no imperfections during playback. The record should have no signes of wear. The sleeve can have minor imperfections but no splits, folds or scratches.Very Good Plus (VG+)The record will show signs that it has been played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Any defects of cosmetic nature does not affect playback. But the sound quality should play perfectly. Sleeves might have slight wear with small seam split or folded corners. In general the record plays perfectly but has some aesthetic wear to the sleeve or inlay.Very Good (VG)The records defects will be more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident upon playback, especially in the soft passages during intros, but will NOT overpower the music. Wear will be noticeable, such as light scratches that affect sound. Sleeves and labels will have obvious wear with tape, writing or stickers. However a (VG) record will not have all these problems at the same time.Good Plus (G+)The record is in good condition. It can be played all the way through without skipping, but it will have significant surface noise, scratches, crackling, or visible wear. The sleeve or original covers will have significant wear, seam splits, writing, or tape. (G+) will not have all of these problems at the same time
