Description: 1973 BOSTON RED SOXADV 20 Card Team SetStrat-O-Matic Baseball(20 Cards Only, No Additional Players, No Game Parts)by Strat-O-Matic, Glen Head, NY(1974)Woo-hoo! This is the GOOD STUFF! These are the ORIGINAL release cards, in dark blue printing (Advanced side), set up for Basic & Advanced play only! This 20 card roster Strat Baseball team is in Very Good to Near Mint condition, inventoried, sorted, & complete! This is a great PLAYER'S set. They are rested, tested, & ready to play again! 1. Petrocelli's card has light rubber band residue on his Basic side that touched at 1-9, 2-9, & 3-10. All game data is very easy to read & highly playable. The Advanced side has a very light bleed through off data spot at the center top of the card. 2. Harper's card has barely visible erased pencil name, stealing, running on his Basic side. There are also 2 very small near miss rubber band residue spots next to his 1-6 & 5-8 results. The Advanced side is perfect. No game data affected whatsoever. 3. Aparicio's card has barely visible erased pencil team name & small light food spots that touched on 1-5, 1-6, 2-7, & a near miss at 3-7. All game data is very easy to read & highly playable. The Advanced side has 3 small light off data spots. 3. Much Ado About Nothing: Tiant & Cepeda's cards have a small light off data spots. Cepeda has it on the top right corner of his Basic side with a near miss at 1-12 vs. LHP on the Advanced side. Tiant has them near his first name on the Basic. Fisk, Yastrzemski, & Guerrero all have small light pen marks on their Basic sides. Yaz has it on his name along with a very light crease on the right side of his 1 column data. Fisk has it at the bottom on the word "RECORD" while Guerrero has it at 3-3 & the right edge. No game data affected whatsoever on any of these cards. Their flip sides are all data perfect. The other 12 cards are in Near Mint condition. These were printer cut, hand collated cards produced by Strat-O-Matic before going to the perforated, tear-'em & sort-'em yourself format.
