1972 KENNER BLYTHE DOLL (Platinum Blonde Side-Part) Pretty Paisley NRFB WORKS!

ITEM DESCRIPTIONKenner 1972 Blythe in SEALED Box. Platinum Blonde Side-Part, No Bangs wearing Pretty Paisley & Red Pumps. The Doll is NRFB but Box & Cello has suffered slight storage wear. Cello split on lower front right corner and couple spots on top were cello stretched in manufacturing. Box is simply NOT mint but we do not get many sealed in boxes!!! Doll is still attached inside with the twisty-tie at the neck but the rubberband attaching her at the waist has deteriorated and she may have shaken a little loose or shifted. Her dress is bright and vibrant but it definitely has hard remnants of the rubberband at waist which looks like it should come off easily. Based on the Box, how she is tied in and the way her hair is tied back, I'll say this is an earlier 6-Line Doll. The dolls face is beautiful with HIGH COLOR (pinkish ) with NO discoloring. All eye color changing tested and works great. Just note that these mechanisms are FRAGILE. We've tested 2-3 times and will not do anymore. The buyer is responsible for mechanism upon arrival. String should always be pulled with utmost care and can be worse when doll is in box due to the fact you cannot hold her. BE GENTLE! BE CAREFUL!Sometimes it's better to buy an out of box doll as they can be checked...all over. These dolls were tied in the box in a weird way and caused pressure on the pelvis which could have cause a split. I would presume someone paying this amount of money will Leave the doll NRFB but if you are a crazy collector and open... this issue is something you need to be aware of and it's beyond our control. She appears to be fine with no awkward shifts, leaning etc that would indicate an issue.NOTED CONDITION ISSUES: BOX not Mint. Expect dust at seams and possible more small issues not mentioned above.
