Here is a rare original 1970s FREE SPIRIT 20" BANANA SEAT muscle bike! (The Serial Number is 5024 J88 761488?) I believe this was made by Murray (makers of the Eliminator) and sold under the Sears FREE SPIRIT name! This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! *The bike is in the original and very appealing GREEN and WHITE 2-tone factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching hand grips, unique original banana seat, chrome rear sissy bar and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! You can read the chainguard lettering really well unlike most of them. I LOVE these wrap style guards! The bike is a 3-speed with operable brakes. (has the super desirable 3-speed hub with coaster AND hand controlled brakes) This one has chrome raised center wheels front and rear. The tires are vintage 20" tires and do hold air. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. *NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! The paint looks respectable for a 45+ year old bike! (LOVE the original paint job! Has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail.
