This kit is silk screen printed to exactly match Factory Original OEM colors and is the most accurate, correct, licensed and accepted as the industry standard for concourse restorations. It took 22 months, 24 color matches, a tripled budget and extensive research to "correctly produce Factory Original Equipment Reproduction. Include Fender, Door and Quarter Panel Stripes correctly screen-printed on 3M Scotchlite® Reflective Material. Highest Candle Watt reflectivity available. Yes, they do rate candle watt reflectivity for vinyl. Colors are accurate. Inks are opaque and transparent where it is warranted and as originally produced! Beware! Another manufacturer represents their kit as correct (the best). IT IS NOT. It is computer-printed and can only output transparent ink colors. When correct opaque colors are required they improperly use translucent. Pretty, but not-OE correct. Only screen-printing can yield the proper OEM result like ours. Add to this, inconsistencies and incorrectness of their stripe contours, cutouts and cut lines and you have what some have coined cheap knock-offs. These errors to OEM correctness are in addition to their using cheaper reflective material in time past. They have since changed to correct material (that we last knew to be true).
