On your 1968-72 Pontiac Tempest, Tempest Custom, LeMans, LeMans Sport or GTO convertible there are special bolts that attach the convertible top lift cylinders to the top frame, the bolts are very unusual and if you don't have the proper bolts you can easily ruin your top cylinders. With the addition of CNC equipment we are able to make many of the parts that in the past were unavailable, this stepped bolt is a duplicate of the original and will work perfectly on your car. Each cylinder requires 1 bolt, if you need them for both cylinders just buy a quantity of 2.
