Description: Always the most-sought card in one of the most-sought non-sports sets of all time, this is card #15 Babe Ruth from the 1952 Topps Look 'N See set. The only baseball, and sports subject altogether, from this set with a very similar design to the legendary 1952 Topps baseball set, in a smaller format, Sportscard Guaranty Corp (SGC) has certified this example as VG 3. With corners in the EX+ range, a sharp, bright and clean image with no evident surface wear, the only flaw besides centering toward the lower left are stress wear at the borders, which is related to these cards being issued in two-card perforated panels that had to be separated by hand. Very nice card. Insurance costs have escalated sharply with all carriers, and insurance is the biggest expense in the shipping charge of $17 USPS Ground Advantage.
