Description: A Rawlings baseball, distributed by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association, autographed by four members of the 1952 Philadelpha A's. I obtained this baseball in the 1990's. The Philadelphia Baseball Historical Society hosted an autograph session with A's alumni. The following players signed this baseball: Pete Suder - played for the Philadelphia A's from 1941-1954. He went with the team when the franchise moved to Kansas City and he retired after the 1955 season. He died in 2006. Ferris Fain - played for the A's from 1947-1952 and then the Philadelphia Phillies from 1953-55. He died in 2001. Joe Astroth - played for the Philadelphia A's from 1945-1954, moved with the franchise and played with Kansas City A's 1955-1956. He died in 2013. Eddie Joost - played in the majors from 1936-1955, including the A's from 1947-1954. He was the manager of the A's in 1954. He died in 2011. This is a very unique item, bearing autographs of players with a franchise of history. I am a longtime collector, primarily of Kansas City A's memorabilia, however I need to downsize my collections. I will guarantee the authenticity of the autographs. They will pass any professional certification process or a full refund will be given. Buyer to add $9.00 for secure shipping via USPS. Please see my other current Ebay listings of sports and railroad collectibles, with new items added weekly. I have a 100% positive feedback rating as an eBay seller. Thanks for looking.
