1951 Gibson BR-9/GA9 transition Amplifier RARE

Description: 1951 Gibson BR-9, this was the BR-9 that came out before the GA-9 and after the original BR-9 was no longer being made. This BR-9 has the identical circuit as the newer GA-9 with only a couple minor changes. This model also has the original 10” Jensen speaker most of them had a 8” speaker and the wattage is between 15-18 watts. The internet master tube tech Uncle Doug actually did a video on this amplifier. I could not find a schematic anywhere until I ran across YouTube’s Uncle Doug’s video. I have went over this complete amp and changed all resistors and caps that were out of spec, I also pitched the death cap and installed a 3 prong grounded power cord. This amp really has a unique clean sound that you only get in a vintage tube amp, it would be perfect for recording, smaller gigs, or you could mic it and player larger gigs.
