Description: This listing is for a Naito Shoten INTER PLANET SPACE CAPTAIN robot made by TTT (aka, Tin Tom Toys) in the 1990s. Desirable and scarce, this was TTT's first reproduction robot and it caused a stir with collectors because it was stamped "Japan" like the originals, including with the box, key, and key sack. Since they were being mistaken as rare originals, Tom Lao of TTT was pressured to remove "Japan" after the initial run. Consequently, the "Japan" version is truly limited. The robot measures 8 inches tall and made of tin with a wind up motor. Condition is mint in the box and still works great. The thin cardboard box shows shelf wear but still very presentable.
