Description: 1947 Jeep CJ2A survivor. This Jeep was last registered and driven in 1978. It has been in dry storage and only recently been prepared for sale. Repairs include a new fuel tank, brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders and miscellaneous brake lines and hoses. The generator has been rebuilt and a new voltage regulator installed. The carburetor has been rebuilt and the water pump replaced. The tires are new period correct non directional 6.00X16 reproductions. This Jeep starts easily, runs smoothly and carries good oil pressure and does not smoke. The transmission shifts properly and yes, it jumps out of second gear. The transfer case operates properly. It has had one repaint from Picket gray to tan in the 1970’s. The paint is scratched but still has a shine. Included is the original canvas 1/2 cab top which is only good for a pattern. It currently has a black top that is very serviceable. It is also equipped with a Shenecker hand pump snow plow. Rust through is limited to the tool box area otherwise this Jeep is extremely solid. Located in Windsor, Pa. which is close to York, Lancaster and Harrisburg, Pa.
