1940s Men's Benrus Model BB1 Manual Wind Watch

Description: 1940s Men's Benrus Manual Wind Watch This is a very nice men's Benrus manual wind watch, made in Switzerland sometime during the 1940s. The 17 jewel Model BB1 / ETA 745 movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is running well and keeping accurate time. The 2-tone gold colored dial is in excellent condition for its age - there are a few areas of paint loss but very little patina throughout. The cool looking 14k R.G.P. (Rolled Gold Plated) case with apex lug tops has been cleaned and polished, and shows only minor surface scratches from past use and a few tiny dings here and there, but no gold loss to be seen. The crystal has been polished and is clear, however there is a blemish at the top right above the 12 index. I didn't have another crystal of this size / shape, otherwise I would have replaced it. A brand new brown leather strap has been installed. Overall, the watch is in very good condition and ready to wear!
