Description: Gorgeous 1940s black velvet princess coat with fur stole-style collar. The exterior is in very good condition, but the silk lining is tattered at underarms, shoulders and wrists. The stole needs simple restitching in a couple places. Collar is separated in one area. Coat bodice is fitted with flared skirt, which is longer in back. 11 Velvet-covered buttons are slightly off center, as designed. Bust appx. 36", Shoulders 15.25", length 36"
