Ultra rare and very beautiful Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic propaganda poster dedicated to the election to the Supreme Court of Ukrainian SSR at 1938. In the middle there is nice National Ukrainian SSR Emblem with Stalin & Lenin figures asides. The artwork is unique as it was issued in Kiev city (Ukrainian capital), all incoming signs are also in Ukrainian, but the main inscription made in old Moldavian language, that happens very rare among Soviet posters. Also please note the artwork was issued in a highly limited edition - only 1000 copies. HISTORY:Legislative elections were held in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republics on 26 June 1938, the first after the establishment of the Soviet Union. Background:The Constitution of the USSR was adopted on 5 December 1936, in accordance with which elections were held for new bodies at all levels from local councils and ending with the Supreme Council of the Soviet Union.
