Description: The photos from the 1938 R329 Clopay Photo-Fun series were self-developed by the consumer on specially prepared photo paper using sunlight and water. The result was a set of blue-tinted cards with varying levels of photo clarity and contrast. The player's name, position and team are provided on the card fronts. Card backs are blank and often somewhat soiled. Because of this process, the cards are found today in generally lower grades, as in this example of Ben Chapman, outfielder for the Cleveland American League.
