One of them, Mickey Cochrane not only managed the team but played catcher and had 437 plate appearances. The Tigers would lose to the St L. Cards in a 7 game W.S. Produced by National Chicle the R 311 premiums could be obtained in store by redeeming 15 " Diamond Star" wrappers. Set is designated 1936, but it is probably a 1934-1936 production. This premium was removed from a scrapbook as indicated by its corners and back. Not great condition but a tough early Tiger collectible---- free shipping
