Description: These vintage lathe bats are not seen often! This one is dated 6/7/36 and was the template used to produce the bats of Fred Berger. Berger played minor league ball for 12 seasons, many in the Pacific Coast League with the Portland Beavers. At the time that this bat was dated, he was with the Indianapolis Indians of the American Association, AA ball. Berger was born in Chicago in 1908, and I'm sure there is a family member who would really like this in their collection! In bold pencil, the bat reads, "36oz, Fred Berger, 6-7-36".
