Description: 1930s Queen Anne Glasbake Handled Casserole Dish w/Lid - Art Deco Depression Era. Glasbake was originally made starting in 1917 by the McKee Glass Company and was created as a direct competitor to PYREX. Originally more affordable than PYREX, Glasbake offered decorative bowls that could go from oven to table to fridge. This piece is a lidded round casserole dish with handles in the Queen Anne pattern that came into popularity in the 1930s-1940s. Dish has a diameter of 10.75" when measured across the handles and 8-3/8" when measured across the top of the dish. Without the lid it stands 3-7/8" tall and with the lid it is approximately 5-7/8" tall. In good vintage used condition with some flaws. While the casserole dish has no major cracks, it does have a number of small chips throughout the piece, including multiple chips on the glass on the edge lid as well as one spot on the top edge of the bowl.
