IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH ITS BEAUTIFUL AND RARE MINTY DIAL. CASE: This is an absolutely beautiful and superb Art deco example solid 925 SILVER beautifully shaped 2 piece hinged watch case. The case is in excellent original condition. The solid silver case back shows some normal light wear marks, but nothing which detriments the watch at all when on the wrist. The bezel is in very good condition showing light age related wear. The case sides are good. The case is hallmarked for 925 silver on the inside with the sponsor’s initials of WHS. The hallmarks are for LONDON 1930.The extended solid 925 silver extended wire lugs are beautiful. The case is very well made with a good thickness of Silver and measures 3.5 cms (35mm) in length including the lugs, and 2.3cms (23mm) in width excluding the crown. DIAL: This is a wonderful and very rare fantastic Art deco dial in lovely condition. All of the black painted 'EXPLODED' Arabic numerals are nice clear and sharp. The dial has a nice black painted inner minute track. The dial has 2 fantastic contemporary designed blued steel ‘Moon’ design hands which look to be in excellent condition. The sub seconds dial is also in excellent condition, and has a color matching blued steel hand. The crystal is plastic and is curved showing only light wear. MOVEMENT: This is a wonderful clean genuine good grade quality 15 jeweled Swiss movement . It is FULLY SIGNED with the ‘Buren’ on the mainspring barrel wheel and ‘Grand Prix’ on the top plates. This fantastic movement has recently been oiled and timed and is in working order. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps good time to within a couple of mins per day. As always a full service will be needed for continued running, timekeeping and general operation and you buy the watch understanding this. All in all this is a beautiful original movement. BAND: This is an excellent brand new and unworn genuine black leather stitched band with a white metal buckle. As it is brand new it is in mint condition.
