Bowen & Co., Indianapolia, 1917, a copy of the title page is included. It is a rare map that is not often found from the early days of the automobile industry when Ford's Model T ruled the roads. Several state and federal programs were created from 1915-1917 for the improvement of the highway system turning the early auto trails into more improved state and county highways, improved roads are shown in red on the map. Snow removal would began in 1918. The map is is not matted nor framed, being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic photographed against a dark background. Overall, a nice small size map that would frame up economically, a great gift for the classic auto enthusiast. Condition: The map is in Very Good to Excellent condition, very clean with a strong impression and bright color. There is also a similar map on reverse of another county.
