Description: This is a very old metal Liberty Bell coin bank. It is marked with a patent date of 4-18-16 and was made by Bankers S & C System Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. It is engraved with "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants there of. Lev.XXV 10". There is also a copper plaque that reads "Bank of Western Carolina". The bank is 4" tall and 3-3/4" in diameter at the bottom. There is a piece of wood across the top. The coins are pushed through a slot in the bottom of the bank.
