Description: ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT! Are you ready to live out your Edwardian fantasies? This IS the dress you have been looking for! The use of lace to create the structure of the top and the detail in the skirt has been masterfully done. The attention to detail is so good! The overall condition of the dress is really good considering the age. This garment is "estate sale fresh" and I have not laundered it, just a little light steaming so I could show it off to you! There are some small brown spots but fortunately they are all on the back of the top of the dress - see close-up images. The material that makes up the body of the dress is a lightweight cotton. Currently the color comes across as ivory but I have a feeling the original color of the cotton was a super pale blue. If it were my dress, I might consider dying it! I have looked the dress over carefully and there are no discernable rips or tears or large holes to mend. On the top, where the lace has been sewn together, you might want to reinforce before wearing just to be safe but there really is not any serious mending needed. Now for the really good part... the sizing on this dress is relaxed so it will fit a good range of ladies. I pulled the fabric to the max measurement but it will also look incredible on a smaller frame, you can even add a ribbon or lace belt...
