Description: President Theodore Roosevelt had won such an overwhelming victory in 1904 for his re-election that Edwin Stuart supporters, when he was running for Pennsylvania governor in 1906, used TR on some pins to promote him, making them some of the most famous coattail buttons from that time. There are two different versions - both in 7/8 inch size: this one being with a realistic image of TR in a suit holding the U.S. flag. (The other one depicts him in a Rough Rider uniform). They both use that state's keystone to frame-in Stuart with a great GOP-related slogan at top. This pin's Whitehead & Hoag back paper is still intact, as well. It is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases. Shipping on this will be $5.85 carefully packed with tracking. 9371
