INS graded Proof 64. This medal was struck at the John Pinches mint in England in the 1950s for Geoffrey Hearn, who produced a number of such fantasy coins. The John Pinches mint was opened about 1840, became a major producer of medals and related items until it was bought by the Franklin Mint in 1969.The International Numismatic Society (INS) was a grading and encapsulating company in the early 1980's through the 1990's. This is the type with certificate number on the back. It was a well regarding company back in the early days of encapsulating coins.
