Description: 1886 Malte-Brun Ancient Asia Map. This is a very nice copperplate, hand-colored map of Asia circa 1886. The overall sheet size is 12.5 x 9.25 inches. The actual map size is 9.75 x 8.0 inches. The condition of the map is very good. It has some very slight wear. Please examine the map photo carefully. But overall it a well preserved map that would look good framed almost anywhere. The map was created by Conrad Malte-Brun. Brun was a Dano-French geographer and journalist who lived from 1775 to 1826. Shipping is free inside the the continental U.S.A.
