Description: This is a cool coin! This is the lowest graded 1864 Snow 4 DDO Indian Head Cent known. It can only be distinguished by the terminal die crack on the obverse. The terminal die state was discovered 10+ years ago and this is only the 2nd one to turn up. I estimate the grade to be FR or AG, no higher. The die crack that runs through the date, up the neck to the jaw and out at first T in STATES is the determining factor in attributing this coin. The 1864 Snow-4 is very scarce with just a handful known in all grades. Uncirculated examples bring $5000+. This is the most affordable example for this variety!
