Description: 1840s stampless cover from thompson, Ohio (Geauga County). Manuscript posmtakr at left; looks like 1840s date but not quite clear; 10 cent rate; aging spots and toning; appears to be crude hand-made envelope that is not glued at the flaps; no content.
