Description: Welcome to Earlycoppercoins! I am the owner, Shawn A. Yancey, and I am a member of ANA and Early American Coppers, EAC #4647. I am pleased to offer the following item: 1793 S-13 Liberty Cap, Head of 1793 with Beaded Border, R4. Authenticated and graded by PCGS as G4 with completely original chocolate brown example with nice surfaces, color, and eye appeal. This coin was lot #185 in the 2024 EAC auction, where it was EAC-graded AG3+. I thought the coin was easily G4 and turns out I was right! This coin is an interesting mint error, with a straight "end of strip" planchet cutting error on the right side of the obverse. PCGS Price Guide says $8000 in AG3 and $9850 for G4, so I have this beauty priced in-between at $8,850. PCGS certification number is E35489.4/49798703 and the S-13 attribution is listed on the label. Unfortunately, my raw photos are not great: the details are way stronger, and the color is lighter and prettier in hand. Sorry - we just moved but when I get my new lights set up, I will get better photos. GREAT coin, especially for the PCGS grade and price. Thank you for checking out this item! Make sure you add it to your watchlist, and also subscribe to my eBay store to receive newsletters and promotions!
