This is an accumulated lot with a variety of small items. This lot includes the following: There is a comic book with THE TRUE STORY OF SMOKEY BEAR. It is 1960, 1964, 1969. It has some wrinkling from being handled. There is a Smokey Bear plush doll. It is 2000 from Kids Preferred, Inc.. The doll looks fine, however the inseam on the back of one of his legs has come undone and will need to be sewn again. Next is a 1962 Smokey Bear bookmark ruler. The back (shown) has a several count down sections until Christmas, Spring, and Summer school vacations. This was from The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service and Maine Forest Service. There are (3) different cloth patches. These each picture Smokey and they read as follows: PLEASE BE CAREFUL PREVENT FOREST FIRES! JUNIOR FOREST RANGER PREVENT FOREST FIRES PREVENT FOREST FIRES There are (3) pin back buttons and a tin tab button. These each picture Smokey and they read as follows: HELP SMOKEY PREVENT FOREST FIRES! A PLEDGE TO BE CAREFUL I PREVENT FOREST FIRES PLEASE ... PREVENT FOREST FIRES! GREEN DUCK CO. CHICAGO IM HELPING SMOKEY PREVENT FOREST FIRES GREEN DUCK CO. CHICAGO There are (4) unused vinyl or plastic stickers. These each picture Smokey and they read as follows: PREVENT WILD FIRES SMOKEYS FRIENDS DONT PLAY WITH MATCHES BREAK YOUR MATCHES CARELESS CAMPERS CAUSE FIRES! Last but not least in this lot is an old embossed gold colored metal Smokey Bear premium toy ring. These were probably given out to children by the Forestry Service. This particular one, for some reason, was acquired as a prize at an old game arcade. It was made in Hong Kong. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the book marker measures 7-7/8 x 2-3/8. These items appear to range from good to mint unused condition as pictured. As mentioned above, about 2 of the seam had come apart on the pants of the doll and will need to be sewn.
