We designed this tool to make it easier for cigar box guitar builders to be absolutely certain they are finding the dead center point of their cigar boxes. Simply lay the ruler on a box, adjust it until the edges are on/between the same markings on the left/right side of the ruler, and mark your center point.These rulers are marked in numbered 1/2" increments (numbered 1 through 13), and also include quarter inch and eighth inch increments.
