Description: Very rare vintage photograph print Photo Shows: HISTORY OF THE COLD WAR: During the 1930's international issues were strongly infulenced by three men: Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini and Neville Chamberlain. Of the three, Hitler was the most ingenious. He managed to overthrow the Republican government of Spain, rearm Germany, seize the Rhineland, annex Austria, and conquer Czechoslovakia without going to war. Mussolini, an ally of Hitler, was simply a bullyboy. Chamberlain, a non-interventionist, spent his time appeasing Hitler and Mussolini. In the photo, German soldiers march under a raised customs barrier into the Austrian border town of Kufstein-Kieferfelden in March 1938, to begin a non-violent invasion of Austria. Very high quality photo print. Professionally produced by Documentary Photo Aids, in Mount Dora FL. The overall size of this piece is 11x14" I believe that this photo was printed in the 1970's - 80'sIt was originally intended to be used as classroom student learning aid / discussion starter.
