Description: This is a Gorgeous LARGE Antique Cut glass Bowl Measures: 10" wide by by 4-3/4" tallIt is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! This is authentic genuine ABPCG, guaranteed. I do not misrepresent other types of glass as ABPCG like some online sellers do.This is a wonderful geometric pattern called "Crescent" aka "Dauntless" that was an early pattern for the period being c.1897 patented. This pattern is well documented. It is very close to a pattern that Val Saint lambert also cut in the early 1900's. The VSL pattern is often found in color cut to clear and collectors like to use the Bergen clear pieces with the colored VSL pieces often. One way to tell which company cut the pattern is to use 365 uv light to show manganese in the glass blank (which this one has so it is American vs. euro made)This is a thick, heavy and sparkling blank, it weighs a lot Condition: It is over 120 years old... I did spot a few minor tiny contact nips/ fleabites around the top rim but no unsightly obvious damage (typical issue for brilliant glass these days). Also a few small chips too, so I will point to the most visible as I take the close-ups around the rim.
