The outer skin is tangy, while the flesh is sweet. The plants grow upright and are mildew resistant. These very productive plants are adaptable to various growing systems, hedge or ornamental. The sweet berries can be eaten fresh or baked in a pie. This is truly an outstanding variety. This plant seems to have a semi dormant period in the summer-ish time were it will lose its leaves and then grow new ones in the fall. You are getting a rooted starter plant, all you need to do is plant and water and make sure it gets sun and your new plant will grow quickly for you and produce years of food for you, friends and family.
