This ignition switch comes with 3 keys (chip ID46), 1 new bracket and 2 new bolts. The keys need to be programmed. Please see the details below: Honda Civics that are year 2001 or newer are equipped with an immobilizer system. The keys have a chip inside of them. The chip key must match the engine computer in order to start the car.If the car will not start because of this issue there will be a light (showing a picture of a key) that will come on in the dashboard when you crank the engine.
