The 40 diamonds are single cut, meaning that they have 17 flat faceted surfaces instead of the 58 in a full brilliant cut; this is common for small diamonds. The diamonds are all genuine, natural, and unenhanced, and have a manufacturer's stated combined weight of 0.13 carat. These diamonds help bring out the wonderful color of the sapphire and are graded at I/J color and I-2 clarity with fair overall cut. The mounting is by the huge wholesaler Quality Gold, style number Y10246WA. It is done in solid 14 karat white gold with yellow gold-plated highlights. It is finger size 7, but easily sizable by any competent jeweler. The ring weighs 2.6 grams and is narrow; a little over 4 mm wide at the top.
